Sorry for the delay, we have had some technical difficulties logging onto the blog.
It has been a busy start to our Summer term! We have had four new starters into our Nursery, and we have all been superstars helping them adapt to the Nursery routine and surroundings. We also have some caterpillars with us in Nursery. The children have loved observing and learning about the caterpillar life cycle. We are looking forward to them transforming into beautiful butterflies.
We have been making the most of the great outdoors in both rain and shine! We have had great fun using the giant parachute, and we have loved playing with the water in our outdoor area. Here are a few photos we would like to share…
We will be using the outside area everyday, so a quick a reminder about sun cream. Please can you ensure your child arrives to Nursery wearing sun cream, and has a sun hat available in Nursery, thank you.
As you know we have started to make a weekly visit to our school library. We hope you have enjoyed sharing your stories at home. We will continue to visit every Monday until the end of the school year.
We are very impressed and proud of the continuous progress the children are making in Nursery. We have been doing lots of learning through our play and in our small group time. We have had a fantastic few weeks of child initiated creative learning, with lots of ‘puppet shows’ and ‘talent shows’ including some fantastic singing and dancing, we are true super stars in Nursery!
Here are a few more photos of some of our learning from across this term…
