Year 1M went to the National Glass Centre to learn more about different materials used in architecture. We also learned about the History of stained glass windows in Sunderland to contrast with our history from Gateshead. The children learned how to create maps and designed their own stain glass window. I was super proud of the behaviour of the class and after the trip, I received an email from the lady who presented the workshops, who was amazed at their ability and behaviour. Well done 1M.
