On Friday 16th June, children, teachers and parents came together to make a river!

After reading You By You by Linda Kranz, we realised that everyone is different and that’s OK. It’s OK to be you and it’s OK to be unique – because we all are. We designed our own fish to be like Ardi in the book: some big, some small, some plain, some patterned, some swimming alone and some swimming in huge shoals with others. It was lovely to paint with parents and carers, taking a pride in our designs that will become part of a large river of stones which shall be snaking its way around the yard as soon as possible.

Thanks to all parents for their attendance and their superb artistic input. It has to be said that everyone took a pride in their pebbles!
