The children in Early Years have been helping to develop our new garden. First, thank you to all the parents who have donated plant pots, compost and a range of plants for the children to make their own garden to look after. First the children prepared the plants pots using gardening tools, we talked about what the plants needed to grow and the best place to place them. The children worked together and transformed our little garden into a wonderful sensory area for the children to enjoy.
Everyday the children are taking care of our plants, making sure they have enough water and it is now a lovely area where they children like to smells the flowers, observe the new bugs and read a story.
