How lucky were we when Newcastle Museums Trust lent us a box of Stone Age artefacts, right from the early Stone Age to Neolithic times?
We used our deductive powers to find out which period of the Stone Age they fitted into (depending on their sophistication and use of metal) and then compared them to modern day objects which do the same job.
