Hi everyone! We’ve reached our first milestone!
Here’s a message from Mr’s Chapple. (Thorpe Academy, Cluster Leader)
Wurzburg, Bavaria, Germany This is the start of the Romantic Road. If you head south from here you come across some of the most amazing castles!!! It is said that Walt Disney got the inspiration for his Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland, after visiting Neuschwanstein Castle (see picture).
Why don’t you have a look for some more pictures of Bavarian castles. You could try to draw one. I would love to see your pictures when we’re all back in school. You could even start a journal detailing our Mission and include your castle drawing, the places we’ve visited along the way and of course, how you’ve been exercising. I would love to see them when we’ve completed our journey!
Keep up the hard work! We’ve made an amazing start!!!
I’m also going to set-up a school v school competition for the first week back after half term.
