Rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000 can be quite tricky, so 4B have been using number lines to see if a number is less than halfway, halfway or more than halfway to the next 10, 100 or 1000. Using that visual cue, we were able to decide whether to round up or down. Many of our mathematicians were even doing it in their head by the end of the week!
