We have been learning how to keep safe when crossing the road.
We know that we should look for a crossing first, but if one isn’t there we need to find a safe, clear place to cross. We then need to stop at the kerb, look both ways for traffic, listen for traffic and think – “Is it safe?”
We discussed that holding a grown up’s hand will also help us to stay safe when we cross the road.
