In year 6 for Safer Internet Day we have been looking at a range of different ways of keeping safe online. Luckily, we’re all pretty clued up! Year 6 really impressed me with their knowledge of online gaming platforms as well as how to stay safe while using them.
We looked at some ‘in the moment’ scenarios where you may react in the moment if someone has upset you or angered you online. We looked at scenarios and gave some ‘good idea’ advice and some ‘bad idea advice’. We had a very interesting discussion about it! We have recorded our ideas in our PSHE floor book as ‘internet safety’ is currently one of our PSHE topics.
