In Art we have been learning about an aboriginal artist called Emily Kame Kngwarreye and her famous abstract paintings. We then looked at boomerangs and how aboriginal people used them to hunt animals. We can even name all the parts of a boomerang! We enjoyed planning, practising our printing skills then decorating our boomerangs in Emily’s inspiring dot design. Look at our fantastic finished pieces!
