Do you know what Christian love is? We have been learning lots about it. Love is a wonderful feeling but we also learnt that love is also an action. We discussed how parents love their children and the sacrifices that parents sometimes have to make for them. We also discussed the acts that children do to show their love for family and friends. Christian love however reaches beyond the family and Christians believe that to love God they also serve him. They do this in lots of different ways: raising money for those in need; helping to feed homeless people and also collecting unwanted clothing to name but a few. We’ve also been discussing how we can look after the wonderful planet we all live on. We’ve had a lovely time exploring what Christian love is all about.
