This week we have been listening to and reading poems by Grace Nichols. Our favourites were: Cat-Rap, Cosmic Disco and Lady Winter’s Rap. Today we have been rehearsing the skills needed in order to make our performances entertaining.
‘I have learned that when performing, your purpose is to entertain so you want to make it sound entertaining. You can add pauses, add a beat and use expressions with speed to interest and entertain your audience.’ JN Year 6.
