During our lessons we have been learning about the celebration of Rosh Hoshana, and Yom Kippur in the Jewish faith. We found out that one of the ways Jewish people celebrate the new year and it’s sweet beginnings by eating apple and honey. We even got to try it and it was indeed very sweet and delicious! We were learning through stories from the Torah including, Abraham and Isaac, which is a story of faith and trust in God, and also Jonah and the Whale which is about forgiveness.
