Throughout our cushion unit we discussed the different functions of a cushion and researched some designers to help understand why cushions are made for aesthetic purposes. Children have worked very hard to:
- attach buttons
- create a button fastening
- use a range of stitching techniques e.g. running stitch and overstitch.
- create a cushion which is aesthetically pleasing as well as functioning
