Year 1 and 2 had lots of fun on World Book Day exploring the text ‘The Kindest Red’. We explored the importance of being kind and made pledges of kindness to others and to our world. We made origami hearts with key words on too. We followed Faizah’s lead from the story and designed the kind of world we would want to live in. We discussed how everyone is unique and we all have different strengths too. We made paper chains and wrote messages of kindness on them and connected them to ‘pass on the kindness’.
We enjoyed sharing our costumes with our friends and choosing new books to take home and enjoy from the PTA. Thank you!
