This year in EYFS we chose the story ‘The Perfect fit’ to support our mathematical knowledge and PSED development. We took part in a shape hunt, a shape train game/dancing, making shape aliens and enjoyed hearing all about everyone’s favourite tests as just like the triangle in the story we aren’t all the same and have our own qualities and interests.
During the week we also make our own shape sandwiches after one of our friends found the idea in a magazine we have in our classroom.
