Nursery children have took part in RSPB Bird Watching Week. We have listened to lots of stories, sang 2 Little Dickie Birds. We made bird feeders to feed the birds in our nursery garden, practising threading skills placing Cheerios onto pipe cleaners. To observe the birds, we made binoculars from tubes and took them to Forest School. We saw different types and birds and used the ribbons to fly like the ones we could see. We then created our own birds with paints and crafts from what was observed.
