Year 6 have started their new PE unit, orienteering! The outcomes for this unit are to be able to:
- Follow a key and to create a map using a key
- To use a compass for directions
- To follow a map efficiently
The children started the unit by becoming familiar with how to orientate a map and create a key. They have just recently started to use compasses to hide objects in the school grounds for their partners to find using compass directions!
