We would like to thank everyone who helped us raise funds at our events during the last school year. This has enabled us to donate £1,800 towards improving the quality and standard of books that children read in school and bring home. They have all been stamped “Donated by FoRGPS” so look out for them! It’s a shining example of how your contributions improve our school so a HUGE thank you! Besides this, we saved the majority of our funds for our new school leaders to use and are in discussion with them to develop a valuable fundraising goal for the year ahead.
Despite our best efforts, unfortunately we will not be holding a Halloween disco this term. However we are working hard behind the scenes to organise lots of fun activities for the rest of the year ahead. This will be discussed at our AGM, on Tuesday, 15th October, 7.15pm at the Railway Tavern. Attached to the newsletter is a flyer about how to join our school lottery, a great fundraiser which also allows you to win up to £25,000! The more people who enrol the greater our guaranteed school based weekly prize will become.
