This week we have enjoyed learning about Diwali. We have looked at the country of India and how Hindu’s celebrate Diwali. We made our own Diya lamp out of clay – we had lots of fun squashing and squeezing the clay before deorating them using bright colours. Today we decorated our classroom with lights, shared a meal as a Reception class family as well as learning some Bollywood dance. Our outdoor areas is full of beautiful Rangoli patterns.
