In our science lesson today, we went on a search for wild flowers. We spotted: 19 dandelions, 8 daisies, 15 buttercups, 4 clovers, 1 nettle, 6 brambles, 2 dog roses, 1 holly bush and 5 thistles.

We are becoming experts at using part part whole models and relating them to number sentences.
Art- Skylines
We used tissue paper to create a colourful sky, then we used black paper to create the silhouette of a skyline. I am so impressed with the final results!
Planting Seeds
As part of our plants topic in science, we planted some seeds and then wrote instructions on how to plant a seed in our science books. We are looking forward to watching our seeds grow.
Researching Woolly Mammoths!
We have been writing a fact book all about woolly mammoths in english. We have learnt lots of interesting facts and we used the laptops to find out anything we were not sure of. We learnt how to search using the internet and how to search for both text and images.
