Friday Fun
In Class 2, we work very hard! So when Friday comes, we play one song at the end of the day to celebrate this hard work- we all get a glow stick and dance our way into the weekend! Thank you for a lovely first week Class 2!

Representing numbers
We worked hard today to represent numbers in different ways, including using dienes, Numicon, tally charts, numbers and in writing. We discussed how different numbers could be represented and partitioned them into their tens and ones.
Maths- Investigating Numbers
Today we were representing numbers using a range of equipment. Next, we partitioned the numbers and started to learn how we could make the same totals in different ways.
Sentence Building- What is a Sentence?
Today we were learning how to write simple sentences. We really enjoyed using our 'building sentences' sheet to help us add more detail. This helped us to chunk our information and made sure we had included the things that a sentence needed.
