Filling our bowls
Just like Handa we filled our bowls of our favourite fruit to make milkshakes to deliver to our friends. During our group times we discussed the differences between where we live and where Handa lives in Kenya.
Geography
Today in year 6, we explored what it would be like to live as a Mayan. We looked at how geography impacts on different settlements and made a list of pros and cons. We made lists for settlements in the mountains, rainforest, the coast or a cenote.
