We had a wonderful morning acting out the story of The Smartest Giant in Town, thinking about the emotions of the characters and what they were doing. .
We had an exciting delivery into class of the giant’s clothes and a parcel including a letter and our book ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’. We have loved trying on the giant’s clothes and seeing how big they are.
We’ve had a brilliant first week in class 1, enjoying lots of time building, using our imagination and practising our writing alongside lots more.
We enjoyed competing in lots of different events to earn points for our houses at sports day today. Thank you to all the adults for cheering us on!

We had a brilliant day at Gibside today exploring all around, pond dipping, identifying different creatures that we found and enjoying a play in Strawberry Castle. We ended the day tired out from lots of walking but happy having had a great day!
