We located Rowlands Gill on the map and then identified the features we could locate on the map in the surrounding areas. We found the River Derwent, shops, church, houses, school and lots more!

We used play dough to practice different techniques we could use to model the clay with such as twisting, imprinting, rolling and shaping.

Classifying and tasting foods

We sorted fruits and vegetables in to different groups, classifying them by different things such as colour and taste. We then looked at the different areas of our tongue that taste foods and tried foods from each group. Lots of us found the lemon very sour!
