Happy Maths Day!
Year 5 have had a brilliant day celebrating Maths day. We all looked terrific dressed as Times Table Rock Stars!
To celebrate maths we have had an action packed day full of fun activities from all of our teachers. We even had a parade and an air guitar competition this morning too. We participated in a wide range of math workshops, from bar models and fractions to multiplication. In Miss Graham’s classroom we focused on division and took part in a fun quiz game to recap and consolidate our learning.

Maths Day- Bar Model Workshops
As part of our Maths Day celebrations, we have enjoyed working in a range of classrooms covering a range of mathematical areas. In Miss Brown's class, KS2 learned how to use bar models to solve a range of problems.
