Times of the day
We worked hard to decide what times of the day different events happened, from the morning, afternoon and evening. We thought carefully about our life and used that to help us give reasons as to why we had placed events in each category.
Learning about our grandparents’ lives

Phonics fun
We have worked hard building words with sounds we have learned so far in our Phonics so far, identifying the correct sounds and sounding and blending each other’s green words.
Raising money for Children in Need
We enjoyed dressing up and raising money for Children in Need at school. We learned what Children in Need raises money for and learned about one of our class mates who had worked hard to raise money with his family outside of school. Well done!
Freeze framing
We reread the story of ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ and acted out each part of the story thinking about the emotions of each character and the order in which it happened.
Digital Painting
We worked hard to use the line and fill tool to create our own digital paintings in the style of Wassily Kandinsky.
