Tasting foods
We tasted different foods without being able to see them and guessed what the foods were. We then found out what they were and discussed whether they were salty, sweet, bitter, sour or umami. Some foods were tastier than others!
Families
We have started learning about different types of families in the world. We discussed what our families at home are like and how they compared to how other people may live. We worked together to find a family of different animals at the start without talking to each...
Mystery Reader
We enjoyed welcoming a mystery reader into our class today, listening to how all the different crayons felt on how much they were used when someone colours. We loved guessing who it might be and then listening to the story. Thank you!
Beat 1 Tag
We played Beat 1 Tag in Music today, moving only on the first beat of 4 around the room to tag each other. It took us a bit of practice but we really enjoyed it and we’re counting in 4 to the music together.

We have begun to group objects and label them using everyday objects around the room. We found different objects that could match the labels that we created.
