We had such fun at our Christmas party.
Christmas sing along
Yesterday we welcomed an amazing Christmas band. They sang all of our favourite songs and the children got to be part of the band too playing sleigh bells and jingle bells. It was great fun.
Pointillism Paintings
The children have started getting braver with their art skills and thinking of their own ideas for this pointillism painting. They applied the skills they have been learning over the weeks.
Get going Cinderella
Today we role played one of our plot points when Cinderella leaves the ball. The children were fabulous at acting out the scene
Kandinsky Digital Paintings
The children had decisions to make in computing today. They needed to decide on the tools and colours they used.
Investigating daylength in autumn
We did some investigating over the week. I set the challenge for the children that they needed to put their teddies to bed when the sun set. They took photos every night and recorded the time. The children then did some pattern spotting and noticed what was changing.
