Our Reception children last year were lucky enough to spend some time at the allotments, planting and learning about various type of vegetables. In September, we received a very exciting phone call to let us know their vegetables were ready to harvest. All our Year 1’s were able to go to the allotments this week to harvest their vegetables that they had planted last year, including carrots, potatoes and some massive cabbages! We hope they all learned the importance of patience and the satisfaction of hard work!
