Hi all,
You’ll be pleased to know that the fantastic pupils in Year 6B have made a wonderful start to the new school year! Although I have been teaching remotely due to being in isolation, the children (and Mrs Livingstone) have been great and seem very happy to be back. Our routines will be a little bit different at the moment due to COVID restrictions so I thought it may be useful to clarify them for you:
- There will be no PE, reading books or homework sent home this week.
- From week two, we will have PE lessons on Tuesday and Friday afternoon. It is important that the children come to school wearing their PE kit and remain in them all day on those days.
- Homework and Spellings will go out on the school website every Friday evening and should be completed by the following Friday. Please do homework at home and DO NOT return it to school. The homework will be discussed in class and does not need to be physically marked.
- Reading books will be sent home next week and should only be returned when they are complete.
- Please feel free to speak to me or a member of the office staff if you are unsure of anything. No question is a stupid question (particularly in times like this!).
Thanks!
Mr Bell
