In today’s maths lesson, we have continued to compare amounts of tens and ones using the greater than, less than and equal to signs. We were even making and comparing 3-digit numbers. Muhammad even managed to work out that 13 ones needs to become 1 ten and 3 ones in 253 and when Holly didn’t have any hundred squares to make a 3-digit number, she said “I am going to use ten tens to make one hundred”. I was so impressed with the language the children used.
