In today’s science lesson, we took part in an experiment to find out whether woodlice prefer dry or wet conditions. We predicted that they would prefer wet conditions, as we found them underneath a wet log. We brought the woodlice back to the classroom and put them into a large box. We gave the woodlice two choices: wet (with wet filter paper) or dry. All of the woodlice went straight to the wet area, so we concluded that woodlice prefer wet conditions to dry.
