This week along with other children all around the world we sang a different nursery rhyme each day.
We loved inch wincy, it is one of our favourites. Miss Hayden shared a story called Walter’s wonderful web with us which helped us recognise our 2d shapes. We then made webs for ourselves.
When it came to head, shoulders, knees and toes we explored our bodies and matched the written word and pictures to the different parts.
It is amazing what you can use string from a bobbin for! We measured and compared length in small group time then continued this within our play.
On Friday after the animal party in the jungle we needed to match the animal to its correct home while we danced along to Pudsey for children in need.
