Check out our action photos from our recent investigations into understanding air resistance! We tried running with a large sheet of card when it was vertical and wide, when it was horizontal and flat, and also when it was curled into a cone – we made predictions and also discussed our findings. We tried other shapes too, including folded card and curved card – the cone was the best! We also tried two different types of giant cardboard aeroplanes too – the ‘pointiest’ met the least air resistance and Harry worked out that the design could be called ‘aerodynamic’!
