What a lovely afternoon we had at Forest School, the sun was shining and so were we. The children in Nursery joined in with all the fun activities, including practising our balancing, walking  along the obstacle course then trying to make our own using the logs and wooden beams. We managed to squeeze in a game of ‘floor is lava’ ! We went on a bug hunt, rolling over logs as we discovered this was the best hiding spot for them.

We listened very carefully to the instructions Mrs Beatie gave us, in order to keep us safe around the camp fire. We loved using the equipment to make our own sparks and added them to the camp fire. We then helped Mrs Beatie cook cheese wraps, mmm delicious !!

We loved the digging pit and using the spades to dig out the mud. We found it a little tricky as the mud was quite hard so we added some water, then the sensory fun began. We explored the texture of the wet mud dripping through our hands, painted some wiggly worms with the sticks and mud and then made some muddy hand prints !!
