What a perfect day for forest school! 6A discussed the rules and most importantly how to stay safe around the fire. They helped Mrs Beattie to prepare the fire in a safe way so they could make their own campfire banana boats! They were very popular, as was the hot chocolate some children prepared for the class. 6A took part in: capture the flag, making dens, creating an obstacle course, using a saw to chop wood, digging in the mud, dyeing fabrics and some of 6A were able to whittle sticks. We are all looking forward to our second forest school session next week.
