Today we have been making ‘paragraph tables’ in order to learn how we form an effective paragraph. The idea was to make our tables stand up by adding enough relevant information. We wrote the topic of our paragraph on the ‘table top’ and then added our information as ‘table legs’. We found that in order to make our table (paragraph) strong, we needed to add more legs (information). Miss Winskill and Miss Old were very strict and confiscated legs from our paragraph tables if they were not relevant to the paragraph!
