Wow! What an afternoon we have had at the Gateshead indoor athletics competition. 20 children from year 5/6 were selected to take part in this competitive event, competing in track and field events. Each school was working as a team, rather than individual events. The team spirit, positivity and encouragement from all of our children was outstanding and we are very proud of each and every one of you! Together we pushed each other to do the best we could across all events. It was a tense moment when the results were read out! The anticipation was building…… and then we were told we came 2nd out of 9 schools!! What a fabulous result!
