To celebrate Sign Language Week, we joined an online British Sign Language lesson this afternoon with Signature Deaf. We thought about the importance of BSL for the Deaf community and how some people use it as their main way of communicating.The children were so enthusiastic and really enjoyed learning signs for their favourite colour and favourite animal. They even learned how to finger spell their names! Well done Year 2!
