In English, we have enjoyed learning about Dia de los Muertos which is also known as Day of the Dead. We researched facts about the celebration and enjoyed making our own marigold flowers and decorating calaveras. We will be writing an explanation text this week, using features such as a title, subheadings, paragraphs and bullet points to present all of the information we have learned.
