Application forms for a free school bus travel for their travel to secondary school on public transport pass for eligible children to help with travel costs for secondary school have been sent home with year 6 pupils. If your child is eligible then complete and return theform – School Travel 23-24 (1), to the Benefits section at the Local Council before the deadline of Friday, 16th June 2023. This will ensure that you receive the bus pass in plenty of time for the beginning of the new term in September.
If they receive the completed application form after the deadline date they are unable to guarantee the pass will be issued in time for the start of the academic year.
Please note there is now a replacement charge for any passes that are lost throughout the 2023/2024 academic year of £7.40.
