First we listened to the rhyme Head, Shoulder, Knees and Toes, and discussed what happened. We drew around each other looking at different parts of the body and comparing who was the tallest or shortest. We then talked about how everyone was unique and painted people using different coloured skin tones. The children made play dough people and tried to include everyone in their families. After joining in with our rhyme, we labelled the person’s body and added spotty socks, to celebrate Odd Socks Day.  We practised our rhyme in the hall thinking about making sure we had enough space to move around without bumping into another person.
