In DT lessons in Year 2 and Year 6, the children have taken part in a vehicles project funded by the Reece Foundation and Primary Engineers. The children designed, created and tested their vehicles in school. Some of the children attended a celebration event at the University of Sunderland to showcase their creations and test them with other schools from around the North East. They even got to interview engineers and ask them questions about their careers and the different work that takes place within engineering. What a brilliant day!
