We had a great time at Beamish today, we had to buy a ticket to get on the tram to take us to the sweet shop. The driver let us on after seeing our ticket and once everyone was onboard shouted for us to hold on. “Off we go.” When we reached our destination we made a queue at the sweet shop, the lollipops were very popular and sold out quickly so the shopkeepers had to close early. We made our way back to the tram only to find it had broken down but didn’t have to wait long for it to be mended. Then off we went to visit the coal mine. The children all engaged in a great role play activity based on experiences, working together to act out their roles and building friendships.
