As the nursery children are preparing to transition to Reception, we have been going into the hall for some PE. We have been practising getting socks and shoes on and off independently.
As part of our class text The Three Billy Goats Gruff, we trip trapped around the hall, then freezing when we heard there was a troll coming. This helped to support our listening skills. Then the children made bridges thinking about to support their weight on hands and feet for the goats to crawl under.
We then played with the parachute, trip trapping over the top so the troll did not hear.
