Children loved listening to the story of Handa. We explored lots of different fruits including passion fruit, mangos and pineapple and made these into our very own fruit kebabs. The children thought carefully about how they made their fruit kebabs and the following day we all individually wrote our own set of instructions to make them using bossy verbs.
We then made our own fruit and vegetable shop, the children loved writing their own shopping lists as well as using the money and tills.
