As you may be aware, the Government have stated that during school closure we have to provide free school meals to those children who are in receipt of benefit-related free school meals. This is not the same as Universal Free School Meal entitlement for children in Reception and Key Stage One which all children in those year groups usually access. It does not automatically include Pupil Premium children either.
We would like to confirm that the school is committed to ensuring that all children who are entitled continue to receive their provision during the new lockdown period.
All entitled pupils attending school will be provided with their meal at lunchtime as normal. For entitled pupils who are not attending school we are looking to organise fortnightly food deliveries which can either be collected from school or delivered to your home address.
