Dragon’s Eyes.
In today's art lesson, we have designed, drawn and coloured our dragon's eyes (linked to our story in english, The Paper Bag Princess). We will be making our dragon's eyes next week using clay and clay tools.

Children in Need
We had a great day celebrating Children in Need and raising lots of money for charity. We all came into school wearing something spotty or something yellow, the children even helped Miss Smales decorate a spotty T-shirt matching the coloured spots. We enjoyed...
Remembrance Day Art
This morning, as part of Remembrance Day, we used oil pastels and black paper to create these fantastic poppy fields with a soldier and a cross. We even used black oil pastel to create the shadows.

As part of our art topic (looking at dragon's eyes) and our science topic (looking at seasonal changes from autumn to winter), we spent our lesson this afternoon outside, creating dragon's eyes using the different colours of autumn leaves. What do you think?
Bonfire Night Skylines
Today, in our art lessons, we used newspaper to create a skyline and then we used oil pastels to draw fireworks. They look really effective.
