We read the story of Jesus healing the blind man and thought about how we could help people who are blind. We wore blindfolds to see how difficult it was to complete tasks whilst blindfolded.

We had a brilliant week learning about all 5 nursery rhymes and sharing them with our friends. We used the iPads to scan QR codes to listen to the rhymes too. We even gave our best ‘aarrrrr’ when pretending to be pirates!

We learned about the different groups that animals are part of, and we practised sorting them into their different groupings using our toy animals. We practised using the vocabulary of mammals, amphibians, fish, reptiles and birds.

To help cement our understanding of subordinate clauses, we went active! We made giant sentences, chopped up some ‘normal sized’ sentences and also decorated the yard with our own examples too.

We showed our support for anti-bullying week by wearing odd socks all day. We spoke about what bullying was and the importance of being kind and helping others.
